FOREIGN POLICY IN MORRISVILLE

tank photoLamoille County recently received $250,000 to improve emergency response services as part of the Homeland Security efforts. The 2003 U.S. History class of Peoples Academy began to wonder if there was more evidence of past foreign policies right here in our own backyard. Could we find the cause of, or effect of, five major wars in our town? First, we searched the artifact and archive collections of the Noyes House Museum. Then we read newspaper articles, interviewed long-time residents, and poked around old buildings in search of evidence. We put all the evidence together to create five stories on how national foreign policy actually looked here in Morrisville.
