State House Celebration

performance photo

On May 18, 2005, Phoenix House went to Montpelier for a second time to participate in a state wide sharing of Community History Projects. We were the last of the 13 schools to present and we performed a scene from the play about how Vermont became a state.

We were addressed by Governor Jim Douglas, Vermont Historical Society Director Kevin Graffagnino, Community History Project Director Cynthia Tokos, Vermont Historical Society Trustee H. Nicolas Muller III, Marie Houghton from IBM, and Beth Fastiggi of Verizon.

It was a perfect way to celebrate the conclusion of our hard work.
